Speaking 1

I am the founder and blogger of GiveEveryDay. Along with my wife and two daughters, we are on a year long journey of traveling the USA and giving each day. GiveEveryDay.com chronicles how we are giving and ways that others might give too.

In November of 2010, we began selling and giving away all of our possessions. By the first of February 2011, we had purged ourselves of most of our things: toys, clothes, automobiles - even our television. Today, we are enjoying a life free of debt and the entrapment of too much stuff. I love my family and together we are having the time of our lives giving to others.

Along the way, I have interviewed non-profit CEOs, executive directors, and church leaders. So far, we have volunteered with over 40 organizations - some that are run well and many that are in need of major overhauls.

More importantly, we have learned that giving every day doesn't require huge sums of money or powerful positions. You can change the world by living intentionally.

We have a life full of purpose and are confident we are making a difference!

Topics I speak about:

  • 5 lessons you need to learn before you can live your dreams.
  • 5 excuses not to give every day.
  • 5 common things that every successful non-profit has in common.
  • 5 choices you need to make in order to get out of debt.
  • 5 things the Bible says about giving to others and really following Jesus.

I am available to speak at conferences, special events, churches, and other keynote presentations. If you would like more information about having me speak to your group, please submit the form below.

Our family spent 2011 traveling the USA in an RV, striving to intentionally "give every day" for the glory of God. We interviewed CEOs of nonprofits and served alongside over 40 organizations and churches.

Our Pledge

We hereby pledge:

- To spend intimate, quantity time with our family.
- To actively help the poor, the sick, the lonely, and the helpless.
- To value, protect, and advocate for children.
- To de-emphasize the importance of “stuff” in our lives.
- To bring publicity to good causes and good people.
- To live with intentionality, as if this year was our very last.
- To observe the needs in our country/community – and then do something about them.
- To give – every day.
