Day #87: Give Lemon Bars

Day #87: Give Lemon Bars 1

We set up camp this afternoon in Advance, NC. We're planning to be here two weeks (unless the slow Internet drives us crazy first).

Before we left Asheville, we wanted to say "thank you" to the campground owners at the KOA we stayed at this past week. Stephanie and our oldest daughter made lemon bars. They are some of the best ones I have ever eaten!

This morning, we put together a plate of bars to give away. While I was getting the RV ready to hit the road, Stephanie and the girls made a special delivery.

Do you like lemon bars? Here is the recipe we used.

  1. I told you that place was crazy! But I hope to give it another chance - maybe we'll see you there. We may be through there this weekend. And lemon bars are our favorite ;)

  2. THose look delicious. I love lemon bars and wish my husband enjoyed them as much as I do. I'll have to try the recipe.

    1. If you do, look at the comments from the reviewers. We reduced the sugar and lowered the temp for baking the crust.

Our family spent 2011 traveling the USA in an RV, striving to intentionally "give every day" for the glory of God. We interviewed CEOs of nonprofits and served alongside over 40 organizations and churches.
